California, Oregon, Washington Form Independent West Coast Health Alliance

In response to significant turmoil and politicization at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention under President Donald Trump and Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the governors of California, Oregon, and Washington have formed the West Coast Health Alliance. This alliance seeks to provide independent, science-based public health guidance and immunization recommendations aligned with respected national medical organizations, rather than the CDC. The governors criticized the mass firing of CDC doctors and scientists and described the CDC as increasingly driven by ideology rather than science, posing severe health risks.
