Lively, Baldoni Deposition: Lawsuit, Countersuits Dismissed

Blake Lively recently delivered a closed-door deposition in her sexual harassment and retaliation lawsuit against Justin Baldoni, with Baldoni's unexpected presence as she testified under oath about her allegations. The deposition, held at Lively's attorney's office in New York, followed disputes over privacy, with Baldoni's attorney even suggesting Madison Square Garden as a venue. Lively alleges that Baldoni improvised intimate scenes without her consent and retaliated after she reported harassment, while Baldoni denies the claims. Baldoni's $400 million countersuit against Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and others, as well as a $250 million libel suit against The New York Times, were dismissed earlier this year. Both parties continue to deny each other's allegations, and Baldoni's legal team now plans to focus on refuting the harassment claims. The deposition testimony will remain sealed and not be released to the public, with a trial set for March 2026.
