Rep. Tenney Proposes Bill for Trump’s Birthday as Federal Holiday

The proposed legislation would recognize Trump, who was born on June 14, 1946, as a pivotal figure in American history, akin to George Washington. In her statements, Tenney emphasized Trump’s significant contributions, including the Abraham Accords and major tax reforms, asserting that his impact warrants such recognition. The bill seeks to enshrine both Trump’s birthday and the importance of the American flag into law. While Flag Day has been observed since 1949, it is not currently recognized as an official federal holiday.
