Rep. Cory Mills Faces Threat, Assault Allegations

Lindsey Langston, reigning Miss United States and a Florida Republican state committee member, has accused U.S. Congressman Cory Mills of repeatedly threatening to release sexually explicit images and videos after their multi-year relationship ended. Langston filed a police report on July 14 with the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office, alleging Mills contacted her through multiple accounts to threaten her and her future romantic partners. She provided authorities with messages and screenshots, and the case has been referred to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. Mills, who is married to another woman, denies all allegations and states he has not been notified of any official complaint. No criminal charges have been filed against Mills as of now. The incident has drawn further scrutiny due to previous allegations of assault involving another woman.
