Carjacking Chase Kills Suspect, Injures Two Dallas Officers
A high-speed police chase in Dallas following an armed carjacking early Friday morning ended in a fatal crash that killed one suspect and injured two others, as well as two Dallas police officers. The incident began around 1:30 a.m. when three men allegedly stole a Mustang and were spotted at a gas station before fleeing from police. The suspects' vehicle was traveling the wrong way on Northwest Highway near Dallas Love Field when it collided head-on with a police SUV, resulting in serious injuries to one officer and non-life-threatening injuries to the other. The crash shut down West Northwest Highway in both directions for several hours as police conducted their investigation. Authorities have not released the identities of the suspects or officers, and the investigation remains ongoing. Police have urged anyone with information to come forward.
