Oakwood Church Director Faces Life Imprisonment

Zachary Radcliff, a 29-year-old youth and music director at Oakwood Church in Washtenaw County, has been charged with multiple counts of criminal sexual conduct and child sexually abusive activity. The charges follow an investigation by Michigan State Police that began on October 2, 2024, after Radcliff allegedly solicited sexually abusive material from minors. Multiple victims, aged between 12 and 17, have been identified, and Radcliff faces the possibility of life imprisonment if convicted. The Oakwood Church leadership, including Radcliff's father, the senior pastor, expressed shock and heartbreak over the allegations and has cooperated fully with authorities. Radcliff was initially suspended with pay but was terminated without pay as the investigation progressed. The church is offering counseling to those affected and urges any additional victims or individuals with information to come forward.
