Multiple PLA Combat Formations Inspected in Beijing V-Day Parade

The V-Day parade at Tian'anmen Square in Beijing commemorated the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, featuring inspections of various military groups. The parade showcased the Strategic Strike Group, including cruise, hypersonic, and nuclear missiles, alongside the land, maritime, and air combat groups of the People's Liberation Army. Additionally, the information warfare and unmanned combat groups were inspected, highlighting modern warfare capabilities. Women militia units, originating from key bases in the historical resistance, were also present, symbolizing unity and readiness to serve in both peace and wartime. Chinese peacekeepers, representing China’s significant role as the largest troop contributor among permanent UN Security Council members, were among the 13 foot formations inspected. Overall, the parade demonstrated China's comprehensive military strength and commemorated the historical unity and sacrifices in the war effort.
