Apple to Launch iPhone 17 Air, Raise Prices

Apple is expected to announce the iPhone 17 lineup, including the new ultra-thin iPhone 17 Air that replaces the Plus model, in the first week of September 2025, likely on September 9 or 10. The series will consist of the iPhone 17, 17 Pro, 17 Pro Max, and 17 Air, all featuring ProMotion 120Hz LTPO OLED displays. The Air model is positioned as a mid-range, super-slim device with a distinctive design, single high-megapixel camera, and possibly a titanium frame. Pricing across the lineup is expected to rise by about $50, with the iPhone 17 Pro starting at $1,049 and a base storage increase from 128GB to 256GB. Camera enhancements, improved telephoto and zoom features, and the latest Apple silicon chips will be included in the new iPhones. Apple will also introduce Watch Series 11, Watch SE 3, and Watch Ultra 3 at the same launch event.
