Silveira's discussions will include meetings with major Chinese companies like Huawei and BYD, as well as State Grid Corp. to address energy transmission bottlenecks. Despite Trump's tough tariff measures, including a 125% tariff on China, he remains optimistic that an agreement can be reached. Analysts have noted that China's disbelief in Trump's strategies could be a significant miscalculation in the trade negotiations.
