FBI Releases Video of 2021 Pipe Bomb Suspect

The FBI has released new video footage and details regarding the suspect who planted pipe bombs outside the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and Republican National Committee (RNC) headquarters on January 5, 2021. As the fourth anniversary of the incident approaches, the agency is renewing its appeal for tips, offering a $500,000 reward for information leading to the suspect's identification. The suspect, estimated to be approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall, was seen wearing distinctive Nike Air Max Speed Turf sneakers and a gray hoodie. The FBI has assessed over 600 tips and conducted more than 1,000 interviews in an ongoing investigation that has yet to yield results. Although there is speculation about a possible connection to the January 6 Capitol riot, definitive evidence remains lacking. The release of new evidence comes amid criticism from a Republican-led congressional panel regarding the FBI's failure to identify the perpetrator after nearly four years.
