J.D. Power 2024 Airport Satisfaction Rankings

The J.D. Power 2024 North America Airport Satisfaction Study revealed that despite record-high passenger volumes and rising travel costs, many travelers still enjoy their airport experiences. Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport was ranked the best mega airport, while John Wayne Airport in Orange County and Indianapolis International Airport topped the large and medium airport categories, respectively. However, consumer spending on food and beverages at airports has declined, indicating frustration with high prices. North Texas's DFW International and Dallas Love Field airports were also highly rated, with DFW ranking fifth among mega airports and Love Field fourth among large airports. Cleveland Hopkins International Airport ranked last among medium-sized airports. Overall, 60% of passengers felt positive about their airport experiences, despite the challenges of overcrowding and increased costs.
