Trump commuted drug dealer

Jonathan Braun, a convicted drug dealer and predatory lender whose 10-year sentence was commuted by Donald Trump in 2021, has been arrested for assaulting his 75-year-old father-in-law and his wife. Braun allegedly attacked his father-in-law when he intervened during a domestic dispute, and he is also accused of previously assaulting his wife multiple times in recent weeks. He was arraigned on three counts of assault and released without bail. Additionally, Braun faces charges of petit larceny for failing to pay bridge tolls while driving luxury cars. In a separate civil case, he was fined $20 million for predatory lending practices, with a federal judge noting his lack of remorse. Braun has pleaded not guilty to all charges and remains on supervised release for his earlier convictions.
