Freddie Lee Trone Sentenced for PnB Rock Murder

Freddie Lee Trone, 42, has been sentenced to 31 years to life in prison for orchestrating the robbery and murder of rapper PnB Rock, whose real name was Rakim Allen, at a South Los Angeles restaurant in September 2022. Trone was convicted on charges including murder, robbery, and conspiracy to commit robbery. Prosecutors argued that Trone sent his 17-year-old son to rob Allen of jewelry valued at approximately half a million dollars, resulting in the rapper being shot three times and killed. Trone's defense plans to appeal, arguing there was no evidence he conspired to commit murder. Co-defendant Tremont Jones was sentenced to 12 years in prison for his role in the robbery. Allen's family expressed their grief and disbelief over the tragedy during the sentencing hearing.
