Zelenskyy Says Only Trump Can Stop Putin By Hitting Russian Finances

He warned that without cutting off these funds, Russia will continue to grow its military capabilities, prolonging the war. Zelenskyy criticized warm dialogue between the U.S. and Russia as ineffective, stating that only strong sanctions and sustained military support for Ukraine can deter Putin. He highlighted that sanctions not only reduce Russia's money but also block technologies and components essential for weapons production. Zelenskyy has expressed hope to discuss new sanctions with President Trump at the upcoming G7 summit, underscoring Trump's unique influence over global aggressors like Putin.
