French authorities have opened an investigation into the harassment, specifically targeting misogynistic and racist comments against Khelif. Her lawyer, Nabil Boudi, stated that the prosecution could potentially investigate a broad range of individuals involved in the online harassment, including public figures like former President Donald Trump.
