The winner, who chose to remain anonymous, purchased the ticket for $100, with the game offering a total of over $419.3 million in prizes and favorable odds of winning any prize at 1 in 3.84. This is the first of four top prizes of $5 million available in the game, with additional second-prize tickets still unclaimed. Remarkably, Texas does not tax lottery winnings, allowing the winner to take home the entire amount.
