Fox News Cancels MediaBuzz, Adds McEnany, Doocy, Heinrich Weekend Roles

Fox News is revamping its weekend programming lineup starting September 20, 2025, with several new shows and expanded roles for current contributors. The long-running media criticism show "MediaBuzz," hosted by Howard Kurtz since 2013, will end, marking the conclusion of the last media analysis program on cable television; Kurtz will remain at Fox News as a political media analyst and continue hosting a podcast. Kayleigh McEnany, former White House press secretary and current co-host of "Outnumbered," will launch a new show called "Saturday in America," airing from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturdays. Senior White House correspondents Peter Doocy and Jacqui Heinrich will rotate as hosts of a new Sunday morning program, "The Sunday Briefing," which will focus on the White House beat including national and international issues involving the President. Additionally, Griff Jenkins will become a permanent co-host of "Fox & Friends Weekend," while Johnny Joey Jones and Tomi Lahren will co-host the expanded three-hour "The Big Weekend Show" on both weekend evenings. Fox News Media President Jay Wallace emphasized that these changes reflect the network's commitment to delivering in-depth coverage and innovative weekend programming.
