Mavericks defeat Thunder 121-115, extend winning streak
The Dallas Mavericks overcame the Oklahoma City Thunder with a 121-115 victory, led by Spencer Dinwiddie's 28 points. P.J. Washington contributed significantly with 22 points and 19 rebounds, while Kyrie Irving added 24 points, all amidst the absence of star Luka Doncic due to injury. The Mavericks have now won three out of four matchups against the Thunder, who are at the top of the Western Conference. Oklahoma City's Jalen Williams scored 33 points, and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, an All-Star starter, netted 31 points, including 16 in a strong fourth quarter. Despite the loss, the Thunder led at halftime but could not maintain their lead as Dallas surged ahead in the third quarter. The Mavericks are set to host the Boston Celtics next, while the Thunder will visit the Portland Trail Blazers.
