Deion Sanders Open to NFL with Sons

Deion Sanders, currently the head coach at Colorado, has expressed that he is not interested in coaching an NFL team, despite rumors linking him to the Dallas Cowboys' head coaching position. Sanders explained on his show 'We Got Time Today' that the current practice culture in the NFL, which has evolved to be less intense due to changes in the collective bargaining agreement, does not align with his coaching style. He fondly recalled the rigorous practice sessions during his playing days in the 1990s and stated that he couldn't handle the perceived lack of intensity in today's NFL practices. Sanders mentioned he might consider an NFL coaching role only if it involved coaching his sons, who are top prospects for the 2025 NFL Draft. Former Cowboys teammate Troy Aikman believes Sanders would have been a great fit for the Cowboys, highlighting Sanders' commanding presence and leadership skills. However, Sanders remains committed to his role at Colorado, where he has achieved significant success, leading the team to a 9-4 record last season.
