Two Dead, One Injured in South Dallas Drive-By Shooting

Early Sunday morning, a drive-by shooting in South Dallas resulted in the deaths of two individuals and left another injured. The incident occurred around 3:30 a.m. in a parking lot on Elsie Faye Heggins Street, where witnesses reported that a vehicle opened fire on a crowd, prompting some to return fire. The victims included a 27-year-old woman who died at the hospital and a man who succumbed to his injuries after arriving by private vehicle. A third individual sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was also hospitalized. As of now, police have not identified any suspects or released further details about the victims.
