Republican Group Launches $11.5 Million Ad Campaign

Republican Voters Against Trump is launching a significant $11.5 million advertising campaign in key swing states, including Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Arizona, and Nebraska's second congressional district, to promote Vice President Kamala Harris. The campaign features a 30-second ad showcasing testimonials from former Trump voters who express their support for Harris, citing various grievances against Trump, including his actions related to the January 6 insurrection. Pennsylvania will receive the largest investment of $4.5 million, followed by Michigan ($3 million), Wisconsin ($2.2 million), Arizona ($1.5 million), and Nebraska ($375,000). Additionally, the group will display 79 billboards echoing the message of former Trump voters supporting Harris. Despite these efforts, polls indicate that a significant majority of Republicans remain loyal to Trump, with only 5% reportedly supporting Harris. The campaign is part of a broader strategy to sway disaffected Republican voters away from Trump and towards the Democratic candidate, as both campaigns gear up for a highly competitive election.
