Israeli Army Destroys Homes, Kills Palestinians in West Bank

The Israeli military has intensified operations in the West Bank, notably destroying buildings in Jenin and conducting a military offensive in Tulkarem, resulting in multiple casualties. In Jenin, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) demolished structures labeled as 'terrorist infrastructure,' while airstrikes reportedly killed a 16-year-old boy among others. In Tulkarem, the army executed a 51-year-old man and continued demolishing homes, with reports indicating the use of snipers and bulldozers to escalate the assault. A report highlighted a significant increase in home demolitions across the occupied West Bank, driven by far-right political pressure and affecting thousands of residents. Between October 2023 and November 2024, approximately 320 homes were demolished in East Jerusalem alone. The recent military actions come amid rising tensions following the ceasefire in Gaza, with fears of escalating violence spilling over from there into the West Bank.
