Israel Confirms Death of Hamas Leaders, Strikes on Hezbollah

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) announced that three senior Hamas leaders, including Rawhi Mushtaha, were killed in an airstrike on a fortified underground compound in northern Gaza three months ago. Mushtaha, considered the 'right-hand man' of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, was involved in both civil governance and military operations against Israel. The strike also took the lives of Sameh al-Siraj and Sami Oudeh, both of whom held key security roles within Hamas. Hamas has not confirmed these deaths, reportedly to prevent a decline in morale and operational capacity. Additionally, Israel has intensified its military actions against Hezbollah in Lebanon, reportedly killing 15 members in separate strikes. These operations occur amid escalating tensions with Iran, following ballistic missile launches at Israel by Iranian forces.
