The event, which lasted over two hours, was criticized for lacking substantive information about the platform, leading many participants to leave disappointed. WLF aims to offer decentralized finance (DeFi) services including borrowing and lending cryptocurrencies on the Ethereum blockchain. Key figures behind the venture, such as Trump's sons and entrepreneurs Chase Herro and Zak Folkman, provided some details about the tokenomics, indicating the use of a non-transferable governance token called WLFI. The project has faced scrutiny and ethical concerns due to the timing of its launch amidst Trump's presidential campaign. Despite the controversy, the team claims the platform will be user-friendly and regulated by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
