ICE Arrests Surge Across Washington, Florida, Idaho in 2025

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrests and detentions have surged significantly across multiple states in 2025, reflecting a nationwide increase in enforcement activity. Washington state saw a sharp rise in June with at least 275 arrests, more than doubling previous monthly averages, while Idaho experienced a nearly 800% increase in arrests compared to the same period in 2024, alongside a 540% increase in detentions in federally certified local jails.
