Melania Trump honors 2025 International Women of Courage Award winners

At the 2025 International Women of Courage Awards hosted by First Lady Melania Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, eight women were honored for their exceptional courage and leadership. Among the awardees was Georgiana Pascu from Romania, recognized for her efforts in rescuing individuals from human trafficking and advocating for the disabled. This marks the 19th year of the IWOC Awards, which have celebrated over 200 women from more than 90 countries since their inception in 2007. Several members of the Cabinet attended the ceremony, further underscoring the event's significance in promoting women's courage globally.
