China Denies Supplying Drones Amid EU Claims

China has denied supplying Russia with attack drones, despite EU claims backed by evidence that a factory in China's Xinjiang region is producing lethal drones for Russia's military efforts in Ukraine. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian emphasized that China strictly controls military exports and has not provided lethal weapons to any conflict party. The EU has imposed sanctions on Chinese companies alleged to be involved in dual-use goods supply that supports Moscow and has expanded sanctions against Iran for its alleged role in aiding Russia with UAVs and missile components. The UK has also sanctioned Chinese drone-maker Autel Robotics for allegedly assisting Russia's military activities. Diplomatic discussions between the EU and Beijing are ongoing to verify the extent of China's involvement in Russia's drone production.
