Trump endorses Arkansas Gov. Sanders, Republican House candidates for 2026 re-election

President Donald Trump has officially endorsed Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders for re-election, praising her leadership and alignment with his America First agenda. Trump highlighted Sanders' accomplishments as governor and her prior role as his White House press secretary, emphasizing her efforts on the economy, taxes, public safety, agriculture, energy policy, border security, law enforcement, military affairs, and Second Amendment rights. Sanders expressed gratitude for the endorsement, affirming Arkansas’ support for Trump’s agenda. In addition to Sanders, Trump also endorsed several House Republicans from Arkansas, including Representatives French Hill, Bruce Westerman, Rick Crawford, Jim Jordan, Warren Davidson, and James Comer, urging voters to re-elect them. The endorsements come as the GOP aims to maintain majorities in the House and Senate ahead of the 2026 midterm elections. Sanders’ re-election campaign reports strong fundraising, with $5.5 million cash on hand and over $1 million raised in the third quarter of 2025.
