Sony Pictures has announced the release date for Jumanji 3, set to hit theaters on December 11, 2026. Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, and Karen Gillan are expected to reprise their roles, with Jake Kasdan returning as director. This film will continue from the successful reboot that began with Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle in 2017, which grossed over $950 million globally, followed by Jumanji: The Next Level in 2019, which made approximately $801.7 million. The new installment will be the fifth film in the franchise, following the original 1995 Jumanji and the 2005 spin-off Zathura. While plot details remain undisclosed, the franchise has consistently performed well at the box office, accumulating over $2 billion across the trilogy. More information is expected to be released as the production progresses.
