US Releases Epstein Prison CCTV Confirming Suicide, No Foul Play

Eleven hours of CCTV footage from the Metropolitan Correctional Centre in New York City, capturing Jeffrey Epstein's movements on the night of August 9 and early morning of August 10, 2019, have been released to the public. The footage shows Epstein, handcuffed and in an orange jumpsuit, being led to his cell by a guard and no one else entering or leaving the area before he was found dead by apparent suicide. The Department of Justice and FBI investigations concluded Epstein died by suicide, found no evidence of foul play, nor any credible evidence that Epstein maintained a 'client list' to blackmail powerful figures. FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino released the footage to put to rest ongoing conspiracy theories surrounding Epstein's death, fulfilling a campaign promise by President Donald Trump. Despite the release and official findings, speculation and conspiracy theories persist, partly fueled by high-profile figures like Elon Musk suggesting that some truths remain undisclosed.
