North Korea's Foreign Minister Visits Russia

North Korean Foreign Minister Choe Son Hui has embarked on an official visit to Russia amid heightened concerns regarding North Korea's military cooperation with Russia in the ongoing war in Ukraine. The U.S. Pentagon reported an increase in the number of North Korean troops sent to Russia for training, now estimated at 10,000, which may be deployed to support Russian forces near Ukraine's Kursk region. NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte emphasized that this deepening military alliance poses significant threats to security in both the Indo-Pacific and Euro-Atlantic regions. South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol indicated that North Korean troops could be deployed to the front lines sooner than anticipated.
