Fiji Airways Launches Direct Service to Dallas

Fiji Airways has launched its inaugural direct flight connecting Nadi, Fiji, with Dallas Fort Worth, Texas, marking the airline's longest route at 13 hours. The service will operate three times a week using the Airbus A350-900 XWB, enhancing Fiji's global connectivity and boosting tourism from the U.S. to Fiji. This new route allows seamless connections for Australian travelers heading to the U.S. and is expected to bring in about 1,000 visitors to Fiji each week. Fiji Airways’ CEO noted that the route opens opportunities for travelers to explore Fiji's culture and landscapes while facilitating access to the South Pacific. The airline is also celebrating the launch with special fare promotions aimed at attracting travelers. The successful inaugural flight was welcomed with a ceremonial water cannon salute at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport.
