Shooting at Lions Tailgate Leaves Two Dead

A tragic shooting at Detroit’s Eastern Market following the Lions' game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday has resulted in two deaths. The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. when a fight broke out between two men, one of whom pulled out a gun and fired shots, killing a Detroit man in his 40s and critically injuring another in his 20s. The injured man later died in the hospital. The suspect, an Oak Park man in his 30s with a concealed pistol license, was arrested at the scene. Detroit Police Chief James White condemned the mix of tailgating, drinking, and firearms, stressing that such violence is unacceptable.
