South Park Moves Exclusively to Paramount+ August 2025

All 26 seasons, specials, and forthcoming episodes of 'South Park' will leave HBO Max and become exclusively available on Paramount+ starting August 5, 2025, under a $1.5 billion, five-year deal between creators Trey Parker, Matt Stone, and Paramount Global. The move ends a five-year streaming arrangement with Warner Bros. Discovery and HBO Max, consolidating all content on one platform. The transition followed contentious negotiations, legal disputes, and a delayed Season 27 premiere featuring a controversial deepfake of Donald Trump, which drew White House criticism but achieved record viewership and public support from Stephen Colbert. The shift also coincides with the impending Paramount-Skydance merger, resolving long-standing licensing fragmentation. New episodes will continue to debut on Comedy Central before streaming on Paramount+ the following day. The agreement includes 50 new episodes in addition to existing seasons and specials.
