Rosie O'Donnell's Former Estate Listed for $54 Million

The former estate of comedian Rosie O'Donnell, located on Miami's exclusive Star Island, has hit the market for $54 million. O'Donnell originally purchased the property in 1999 for $6.75 million and sold it in 2003 to Dr. David Frankel and his wife Linda for $16.5 million. The Frankels extensively renovated the Mediterranean-style mansion, which spans approximately 11,000 square feet and includes eight bedrooms, two guesthouses, a large pool, and a private dock with a 40,000-pound boat lift. Their son, Greg Frankel, is currently overseeing the sale of the property after living there for 18 months. The estate, notable for its historical roots dating back to the 1920s, is the only available property on Star Island, making it particularly desirable for potential buyers.
