Lagos Assembly Seeks Clarification on Supreme Court Ruling

This decision declared allocations to councils with caretaker committees as illegal, leading lawmakers to seek clarification to comply with the judgment. Additionally, commendation letters are planned for the Inspector-General of Police and the Lagos Commissioner of Police for eliminating nine kidnappers, with a call to enhance security measures. Stakeholders are urged to expedite the creation of state police to complement the federal system, aiming to maintain safety in the state.
