Denmark Moves to Copyright Faces, Voices Against AI

Denmark is set to become the first European country to grant citizens explicit copyright protections over their body, facial features, and voice, aiming to combat AI-generated deepfakes and digital impersonation. The proposed law, expected to pass in the fall with broad cross-party support, would allow people to demand takedowns of unauthorized digital imitations and seek compensation for misuse of their likeness.
