Kamala Harris Supports Democratic Nominee Zohran Mamdani for New York Mayor

Despite this, Mamdani has received support from prominent progressives such as Senator Bernie Sanders and Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Harris's comments came as part of promoting her memoir "107 Days," which details her brief 2024 presidential campaign following Biden's withdrawal from the race. She also cautioned against over-focusing on New York City politics at the expense of other rising Democratic stars across the country.
