Trump Organization Plans Investments in Vietnam
The Trump Organization is pursuing investment opportunities in Hung Yen Province, Vietnam, aiming to develop hotels, golf courses, and entertainment complexes. Representatives from the organization met with local officials, including Chairman Tran Quoc Van, who emphasized the province's supportive environment for foreign investors and ongoing infrastructure development. Hung Yen, located 50 km southeast of Hanoi, is recognized for its industrial capabilities and is becoming increasingly attractive for investment, particularly in the growing golf sector, which currently boasts around 70 courses and 100,000 local golfers. Local authorities have committed to facilitating administrative processes for the Trump Organization to expedite its investment plans. The partnership is expected to enhance the Vietnam-U.S. strategic relationship, as highlighted by Nguyen Huu Nghia, the Party Secretary of Hung Yen. The province currently hosts 584 foreign investment projects with significant contributions from Japan, China, and South Korea.
