Man Charged with Arson Attacks on Tesla, GOP Office in New Mexico

Jamison Wagner, a 40-year-old man from Albuquerque, has been federally charged with carrying out arson attacks against a Tesla dealership and the Republican Party headquarters in New Mexico. The incidents occurred in February and March, where Wagner allegedly damaged two Tesla vehicles and spray-painted intimidating slogans against Elon Musk. If convicted of the charges, he faces up to 20 years in prison for each count. Attorney General Pam Bondi described these acts as part of an 'ongoing wave of political violence' and emphasized that such crimes would not be tolerated. Surveillance footage linked Wagner to both incidents, showing him preparing and executing the attacks. Musk's controversial role in the Trump administration's cost-cutting measures has made him a target for protests and vandalism.
