Adams Endorses Cuomo, Joins Campaign

Outgoing New York City Mayor Eric Adams announced he will endorse former Gov. Andrew Cuomo and join his campaign trail ahead of the Nov. 4 mayoral election, reversing earlier public criticism of Cuomo. Cuomo, running as an independent and still trailing Mamdani by double digits in many polls, has picked up some momentum since Adams exited the race, but analysts say it is unclear how much the endorsement will change the contest with early voting imminent.
