Multiple Dead in Separate Crashes Across U.S.

A 25-year-old man, Brandon Wescovich, was killed and two women were injured, one critically, when a motorcycle collided with an SUV Sunday night on U.S. 90 near I‑10 in Mobile, Alabama, police said. In Columbus, Ohio, an early-morning crash just before 4:30 a.m. on I‑71 southbound near the Gemini Place/Polaris Parkway ramp left one person dead after an SUV struck a tractor-trailer, closing the ramp and causing traffic delays; authorities have not released the victim’s identity. In Grand Prairie, Texas, a Chevy Tahoe rear-ended an 18-wheeler in slow traffic on IH‑30 and then struck a Honda; the Tahoe driver was pronounced dead at the scene and was reported to have been speeding and not wearing a seatbelt, the Honda driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries, and the truck driver was uninjured. All three crashes remain under investigation.
