San Francisco Mob Assaults ICE Agents, One Charged for Threats

A mob of 15 to 20 anti-ICE protesters attacked immigration agents outside the San Francisco courthouse during a removal operation, with Adrian Guerrero, a U.S. citizen, threatening to stab an officer and harm his family while armed with a knife and wearing a keffiyeh and orange-tinted goggles. Guerrero also slashed the tire of a government vehicle and was charged with assault on a federal officer and destruction of government property. The protesters physically assaulted four officers, deploying pepper spray and causing injuries, as law enforcement intervened to clear the scene. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem condemned the attacks, citing a 1,000% rise in assaults against ICE agents and attributing the violence to sanctuary politicians' rhetoric. Noem emphasized that despite the threats and violence, ICE agents continue to enforce immigration laws and arrest dangerous criminals. This incident is part of a broader escalation in anti-ICE protests and violence across the country amid the Trump administration's crackdown on illegal immigration.
