Leaders Arrive in Doha for Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit
Several high-ranking officials from Arab and Islamic countries have arrived in Doha, Qatar, to participate in the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit scheduled for Monday. Among the arrivals are HE Mohamed Al Menfi, Chairman of the Presidential Council of Libya; President Mahmoud Abbas of Palestine; and President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani of Mauritania. The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, HE Hissein Brahim Taha, and Muhammad Jallow, Vice-President of The Gambia, also arrived to attend the summit. All dignitaries were officially welcomed at Hamad International Airport by senior Qatari officials, including Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs HE Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al-Thani and other representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The summit is positioned as an urgent gathering of Arab and Islamic leaders to address critical regional issues. The coordinated arrivals underscore Qatar's role as host and facilitator of this significant diplomatic event.
