Nikki Haley Joins Edelman as Vice Chair

Nikki Haley, former U.N. ambassador and South Carolina governor, has joined global communications firm Edelman as vice chair of its international public affairs team. Haley will support Edelman’s clients in navigating complex business, policy, and political environments, emphasizing the need for clear and forward-thinking communication. Alongside Haley, former U.S. Senator and ambassador to China, Max Baucus, has been appointed as a senior adviser focusing on global public affairs, including trade, agriculture, and technology issues. Edelman's CEO, Richard Edelman, highlighted the importance of political insight in reputation management and brand marketing. Haley's experience in attracting international business and leading global initiatives was particularly noted. Both Haley and Baucus are expected to begin their roles in early September.
