Jerry Springer dead

Jerry Springer, a talk show host and former mayor of Cincinnati, has died at the age of 79. Springer's family said he died peacefully at his home in suburban Chicago Thursday after being diagnosed with cancer a few months ago. The star's death comes just weeks after he shared a photo of himself at a St Patrick's Day parade and joked that he would be back.
