Speaking at the 2024 Retail Influencer CEO Forum, she criticized the film's focus on her 2004 legal troubles, which she described as a 'stupid trial,' and lamented that it does not adequately represent her career and collaborations. Stewart was particularly frustrated by an interview with former FBI Director James Comey, who commented on her incarceration without contextualizing his own controversial dismissal by Donald Trump. She felt the documentary was 'lazy' for omitting important aspects of her life while allowing Comey's remarks to stand unchallenged. Although she initially had a positive relationship with Cutler, Stewart was disappointed when he refused to make changes to the second half of the film. She stated that while she anticipated collaboration, Cutler ultimately retained final editing control, which led to her displeasure with the project.
