Qatar Airways Investigates Mid-Flight Death Incident

An Australian couple, Mitchell Ring and Jennifer Colin, were traumatized after being seated next to a dead passenger on a Qatar Airways flight from Melbourne to Venice. The woman collapsed and died mid-flight, and despite efforts to revive her, she could not be saved. Due to her size, the crew was unable to move her to business class, ultimately placing her next to Ring and Colin for the remaining four hours of the flight. Despite empty seats being available elsewhere, the couple had to remain in their seats. They expressed distress over the lack of post-flight support and counseling from Qatar Airways. A spokesperson from the airline acknowledged the incident and stated they were in communication with the couple, offering condolences for the passenger's family.
