Trump Endorses Sanders, Miller‑Meeks, Other Incumbents
President Trump posted endorsements on Truth Social on Nov. 2–3, 2025, backing a slate of Republican incumbents — including Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders and U.S. Reps. Rick Crawford, French Hill, Steve Womack and Bruce Westerman — as Arkansas' candidate filing period opened. The posts, which closed with "HE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN," praised the incumbents' records and coincided with Arkansas' primaries being moved from May to March 2026. Womack welcomed the endorsement and said he looks forward to continuing pro-growth, defense, border-security and energy policies if reelected. The Arkansas endorsements were part of a wider wave that day for GOP incumbents in states including Alabama, Iowa, Kentucky, Mississippi, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas and Utah, though Trump did not name U.S. Senate candidates. In Iowa, Trump gave a high-profile endorsement to Rep. Mariannette Miller‑Meeks for a fourth term, calling her a "distinguished medical doctor and U.S. Army veteran," and Miller‑Meeks called the backing an "incredible honor." Miller‑Meeks faces a likely competitive 2026 cycle that could include a rematch with Democrat Christina Bohannan and a Republican primary challenge.
