Democrats Release Epstein Documents; Allegations Resurface
House Democrats this week released 8,544 redacted Jeffrey Epstein calendars and related documents obtained via subpoena, including calendar entries referencing planned meetings with Elon Musk, Peter Thiel and Steve Bannon and a passenger list showing Prince Andrew on Epstein’s plane, though the records do not allege wrongdoing or confirm meetings occurred. Democrats are pressing the Justice Department to release the broader case file, but DOJ has resisted public disclosure and the department and FBI have defended their handling of the investigation. The disclosures have renewed scrutiny of how the Trump administration and federal agencies handled Epstein’s case and prompted reports of internal White House turmoil and finger‑pointing. Separately, Project Veritas released hidden‑camera footage of former DOJ investigator Glenn Prager in which he claims Epstein was a CIA asset, says he interviewed Epstein’s victims, and asserts Trump was not present during alleged rapes but is protecting others. The Justice Department responded that Prager worked as a program analyst more than 15 years ago, had no access to the investigation’s facts, called his statements inaccurate, and Prager’s allegations have not been independently corroborated.
